The mission of Saint Anthony Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) is to support parents as they teach their children Jesus’ message of love of God and love of neighbor in the Catholic faith tradition.

Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) for Children

Saint Anthony Parish Religious Education offers formal faith formation for the young members in the parish beginning in Kindergarten. Preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation (confession/penance), Eucharist (Holy Communion), and Confirmation are experienced in a creative and engaging environment that gives life-giving and foundation for disciples of Jesus.

We are happy to welcome and always open to families who invite PREP to join them in the religious education of their child (ren).

The PREP sessions are offered on Sunday mornings on the Saint Anthony School Campus for boys and girls in Kindergarten through the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. After morning prayer, they move to individual classrooms for age appropriate lessons and activities.

The PREP faculty and staff recognize the parents as primary teachers in religious education! Parents are the first and the most important! PREP supports the parents in providing a foundation in the Catholic Faith but in no way replaces the important role the parent and home plays in the life of the child(ren).

The PREP faculty and staff believe attendance at weekly Mass and faith formation sessions fundamentally expand and enhance the foundation for a lifelong relationship with God. It is a legacy and inheritance that is passed on from one generation to the next.
