 Reverend Rolando Cabrera, Pastor Father Rolando Cabrera was born in Havana, Cuba, Father Cabrera was ordained for the Archdiocese of Havana on July 6, 1993. Sent to study at the Gregorian University in Rome, he received his licentiate in theology in 1995 and his doctorate in 2003. In between his studies, from 1995 to 2000 and again from 2000 to 2003, he served as rector of Havana’s cathedral, secretary to Cardinal Jaime Ortega, and professor at the San Carlos and San Ambrosio seminary in Havana. After coming to Miami in April 2007, he served as parochial vicar at Epiphany, South Miami, until 2011, when he was named parochial vicar at St. Mark, Southwest Ranches. In September 2013, he served as administrator and pastor of St. Catherine of Siena, Miami. Before coming to Saint Anthony, he was pastor at Immaculate Conception in Hialeah, FL.  Fr.   Fr. Carmelo Romanello Father Carmelo A. Romanello was born some time ago in the southern Italian region of Calabria, the youngest of seven children born to Raffaela and Marino Romanello.In 1990, Fr. Carmelo moved to the United States, where he lived and worked with family in the construction industry in and around New York City. In 1993, he relocated to Broward County, Florida, along with some family members, continuing his work, first in construction and later in a hardware store.In September 1997, Fr. Carmelo was accepted as a candidate for the priesthood and began his seminary studies. He graduated from St. John Vianney Seminary in 2001 and then continued his formation at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, graduating in 2006.

Fr. Carmelo was ordained to the priesthood on May 6, 2006. He first served as parochial vicar at St. John Neumann in Miami and was later assigned to St. Augustine Church in Coral Gables. In 2011, Fr. Carmelo joined the U.S. Navy as a chaplain and served on active duty for three years in southern Japan.

After returning to the Archdiocese of Miami, he requested a leave of absence to pursue a degree and license in mental health counseling. He practiced in that field for several years before returning to active ministry, when he was assigned to St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Fr. Carmelo has a big family, he loves food, music, laughter, the arts, philosophy, theology and psychology. His father passed away many years ago, and his mother and some siblings still reside in Italy, while others live in the United States. He is a proud uncle to many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

Fr. Carmelo is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish. His favorite Scripture passage is:
